With Initial Height
R = (v₀ cos θ)/g × (v₀ sin θ + √((v₀ sin θ)² + 2gh))
Where:
- • R = horizontal range (m)
- • v₀ = initial velocity (m/s)
- • θ = launch angle (degrees)
- • h = initial height (m)
- • g = 9.81 m/s²
From Ground Level (h=0)
R = (v₀² sin(2θ)) / g
Maximum range occurs at θ = 45°
